WHAT MAKES THIS TOUR UNIQUE?

This is the only tour of Rome which takes you to all of the most important sights in the center of Rome.

This is a great introductory tour to Rome, to help you get oriented and better organize the remainder of your stay.

Experience the magical beauty Rome is famous for, hidden alleyways, cobblestones and terraces overflowing with colorful flowers.

Rome’s most famous squares, monuments, fountains and artists offer you the very best on this walking tour. Let the Eternal City enchant you as you stroll through its picturesque cobblestone alleyways and discover some of the world’s most famous sites, such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps. Travel through time and admire all of the City center’s must-see art and architecture, all in a single afternoon!

We will begin in Piazza del Popolo, which traditionally marks the northern “door to Rome” with the church Santa Maria del Popolo which was often the first church visitors to Rome would see upon entering its gates. The Spanish Steps with their lively atmosphere and stunning view bring us down into the winding alleys of the heart of the historic center – where we encounter the Trevi Fountain, which needs no introduction.

Our path continues with a stop at Piazza Colonna which contains the column erected by Marcus Aurelius and is considered by Romans as the very center of the city. We will also stop at the Pantheon which, with its impressive concrete dome and open oculus, never fails to impress. Nearby we explore Piazza Navona, with Bernini’s famous “Fountain of the Four Rivers” triumphantly marking its center. Next, Campo de’ Fiori gives you a taste of one of the liveliest and famous traditional Roman piazzas.

My friend and I decided to do a walking tour when our husbands were at the rugby- we were delighted with our choice especially to find that we were the only 2 on our group tour! Sara managed to find us in the middle of a political rally(!)-and we then had a very enjoyable and informative walk. Sara was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it all added to our enjoyment of the holiday- I would def recommend your guides to other travellers and was only sorry we did not have time for any more. THANK YOU

We greatly enjoyed the tour. It served as a great introduction to central Rome. I feel it was the perfect way to start our stay in the city. One suggestion is to provide a map of sites seen. There were some areas we would have liked to revisit, but were not sure how to locate them.

Jeremiah was very interesting, comical, entertaining and knowledgeable. The tour was excellent showing many sites that were not listed in the brief description. Even though it was raining on the walking tour, Jeremiah made the tour fun and did not rush. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Rome and increase your comfort and awareness of the culture.
